Kerry Rego is a social media consultant, trainer, author, and speaker working with individuals, businesses, government, and nonprofits since 2006. She is passionate about creating strategies to achieve her clients’ marketing objectives, implementing and fixing tools, training staff, and providing data-driven resources.
Specializing in social media marketing, Kerry is associate faculty at Santa Rosa Junior College, a subject matter expert for California Community Colleges and a former lecturer at CSU Sonoma State University. With over 1200 hours in the classroom and 900 presentations under her belt, she has educated and entertained audiences all over the world.
Kerry is a recipient of the North Bay Business Journal’s 2011 “Forty Under 40 Award” and the author of Keeping Your Kids Safe on the Internet: A Parent’s Guide to Technology, The Social Media Starter Kit (and companion workbook), and What You Don’t Know About Social Media CAN Hurt You: Take Control of Your Online Reputation.
She currently sits on the Northern California’s Public Media Community Advisory Council, previously Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation (Board of Directors), Santa Rosa Metro Chamber (Board of Directors, Chair of Communications), and Leadership Santa Rosa Alumni Association (President).
